Consistency

JSA's goal is to provide surgeons with a consistent level of service. We work to make sure surgeons have access to their primary surgical assistant whenever possible. However, in some cases the primary surgical assistant may not be available. This is especially true when the surgical assistant is already scheduled for a case or when a case runs over. When a surgeon's primary surgical assistant is not available, JSA is able to provide another surgical assistant who has shadowed the primary surgical assistant and who understands the surgeon's needs and expectations.
