JSA's partnership model allows us to develop a unique
relationship with hospitals. We offer a practice management
solution instead of simply providing an outsourced service. We work
closely with OR staff, surgeons and administrators to develop a
customized solution to surgical assisting that partners with the
surgical team.
During implementation, we invest significant time and resources
to fully understanding the design and approach of your OR. Each
implementation is led by a JSA program manager, who is responsible
for reaching out to key stakeholders and developing the
relationships necessary to make our program a success. We improve
surgeon satisfaction, and we decrease the burden placed on OR staff
by listening and responding to their needs.
Each site has a designated lead surgical assistant or site
manager who is responsible for making sure the needs of the
hospital are being met. By locating this person in the facility, we
are able to make the most of our partnership and ensure that our
solution evolves to meet the hospital's needs.
JSA works together with the hospital to decrease sentinel
events. Surgical assistants are currently an underused asset in
most hospitals in regards to patient safety, because surgical
services staff do not have time to fully train surgical assistants
with so many other priorities before them.
JSA surgical assistants can help prevent major medical errors
and other sentinel events. JSA surgical assistants are trained to
take a proactive approach to promoting patient safety. JSA-trained
surgical assistants can help prevent major medical errors and other
sentinel events. JSA's dedicated approach to surgical assisting
allows us to truly partner with hospitals to provide a higher
quality of surgical assisting and to decrease adverse outcomes in
the OR.
